I just designed a tatoo for my co-worker. she said she's going to get it on Sunday... A tatoo! that I designed! weird! a permanent fixture on her body that she let me develop. of course I asked all sorts of questions and she gave all sorts of input to the point where basically we decided what she wanted and I drew it. it's very very simple and nothing to get too excited or proud of but it's just so weird! i mean I can actually say that i drew it for her.
So I'll put up a picture of the sketch soon and hopefully she'll let me take a picture of the actual tatoo when it's done and i can put that up to.
She wanted it to represent her sign which is Aries. I went through a few different things. I started with two big rams horns and the word aries sort of woven through the center. She liked it alot but then started to look around to see what other options she had. She found a symbol of a ram that sort of looks like two rams horns connected by a raindrop... i said it sort of looks like that. its hard for me to explain. so i drew a few variations and she picked one. then I looked up fancy fonts cause she wanted it fancy but i thought cursive r's and s's look kind of weird... so i found a font and sketched it out. but I had already designed an A that she liked because it's sort of like the flipped uside-down version of the common symbol for aries. so i wrote out aries in a few different fonts, with the pre-designed a and she picked one and then i put it all together and drew it with a sharpy (cause that's what we had at work and it needed to be dark) and gave it to her. and the n she decided she wanted the word aries on top of the symbol so she cut it up and put it back together. good team effort i'd say. and i'm kinda proud that i can work like that she actually produce something that is kinda nice.
so yeah... that was a long entry... whoops. bye!
